What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring your South African ID or passport, your medical aid card, a list of any current medications, and any relevant referral letters or previous test results.

How do I get a repeat prescription?

Repeat prescriptions can be arranged during a consultation or telephonic consultation. Please note that a script is billed if not part of a consultation.

Do you offer telephonic consultations?

Yes. Telephonic consultations are available where appropriate. These are billed separately from in-person consultations.

For after-hours care, please contact Kingsway Hospital at 031 904 7000. In an emergency, call an ambulance on 10177, or 112 from a cell phone.

Yes. Dr Neser holds a dispensing licence (KZN00476D) and is a licensed dispensing GP.

How does medical aid billing work?

Dr Neser is contracted in with most medical aids and bills the medical aid directly for consultations. However, patients are responsible for any shortfall not covered by their medical aid.
